PURPOSE: To enhance the perceptivity by forming waves of a body by two slopes intersecting each other, and laying a recurrent reflex sheet on all slopes on which waves are formed. CONSTITUTION: A body 10 is provided consisting of a thermoplastic elastomer molding of urethane series which is formed in a thin and long plate having a small width and which is penetrated by a core wire 15 made of aramide resin fiber. Two planes 11, 12 intersecting each other with a degree of intersection or a pinching angle of 20-120 deg. are furnished on one of the surfaces of the body 10 so that a plurality of triangular waves are produced. A recurrent reflex sheet 20 is adhered to all planes 11, 12 so that a delineator device for road is constructed, and this is attached to a guide rail or guide rope. Because all beams of light incident to the area near the crest of each wave are reflected recurrently toward the car, a high perceptivity can be ensured even though it is installed parallel with the car running. |
