Measuring the degree of curing in UV-curable lacquers comprises fixing onto object(s) being lacquered at least one sample substrate (tape) covering only a fraction of the object, removing the substrate after lacquering, and analysing the removed substrate with applied lacquer in a spectrometric instrument.
