<p>PURPOSE: To provide a waterproof plug satisfying both high sealing performance and easy fixing to the opening of conduit while regulating the position of communication lines by deforming an elastic sealing member, inserted with a communication line or the like, compressively in the axial direction by means of inner and outer clampers thereby bringing the outer side face of the elastic sealing member into tight contact with the inner surface of the conduit. CONSTITUTION: An outer clamper 4, an elastic sealing member 5 and an inner clamper 6 are provided with insertion holes 8, 16, 14 for passing a coaxial communication cable or the like and slit while traversing the insertion holes 8, 16, 14. The split members 4, 5, 6 are applied to a communication line 1 or the like and integrated. The outer and inner clampers 4, 6 fix the elastic sealing member 5, while clamping in the axial direction, to the opening 2 of a conduit and compress the elastic sealing member 5 in the axial direction thus bringing the elastic sealing member 5 into tight contact with the inner surface of the conduit. With such arrangement, sealing performance of a waterproof plug can be ensured while facilitating the fixing and the position of a plurality of communication lines 1 or the like can be regulated surely.</p> |
