Sheet gripping and lifting suction cup

The suction cup is intended for handling sheets from a stack and contains a folding bellows (6) contractible from relief condition by vacuum application up to a stop (18). The bellows top end is secured to a support, while its lower end forms a suction nozzle for engaging a sheet. The stop limits the bellows contraction stroke in a first edge region to a shorter stroke than to the edge region diametrally opposite. Pref. the bellows contains a counter-stop, abutting the stop in the bellows limited state.
