LOW POWER MULTI-BAY PARKING METER

A low power parking meter (40) to control two or four parking bays. A displa y, either by a flag-wheel (101) or a digital display (100), will normally indicate the status of each bay. When funds are deposited without indicating the bay to be credited, the meter will escrow the amount until a bay is chos en (514). The meter normally operates in an idle loop (502) unless an individua l bay is being checked or vended.
