INFORMATION RECORDING METHOD AND INFORMATION RECORDING/ REPRODUCING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To record information in an optimum state even when recording sensitivity and an ambient temp. of an information recording medium are fluctuated. CONSTITUTION: A 1T code being a shortest recording code in a using signal modulation system and a 10T code being a longest recording code having a length ten times of the shortest recording code are recorded on the information recording medium. The recorded 1T code and 10T code are regenerated, and two regenerative signals answering to these both codes are obtained. The laser beam power Pw1 when a ratio (10T/1T) between the amplitude 1T of the regenerative signal of the 1T code and the amplitude 10T of the regenerative signal of the 10T code coincides with a prescribed value within the range of 0.6-1.0 is detected, and the detected power value is made in optimum recording power value of the laser beam.
