FIELD: metallurgy, particularly, metal melting in converter. SUBSTANCE: oxygen lance has three concentric tubes with lance tube on their ends. Lance head consists of external and internal plates and nozzles installed in them and inclined at an angle to lance longitudinal axis. Inlet end of each nozzle projects above the surface of internal plate, at least, not less than through 0.05-0.3 of the smallest diameter of nozzle and inclined to axis of outlet section of nozzle at 75-89 deg. Axis of nozzle inlet part is inclined towards longitudinal axis of lance and makes angle with axis of nozzle outlet part within 0.5-10 deg.
