PURPOSE: To provide a mold made of aluminum capable of enhancing the releasability of a molded product and capable of being enhanced in durability. CONSTITUTION: A mold 2 is constituted of a mold main body 7 composed of ah aluminum material, the anodic oxidation film 8 provided on the whole surface of the mold main body 7 and the coating layer 9 of a fluoroplastic lubricant provided on the whole surface of the anodic oxidation film 8 by adsorption. Since the coating layer 9 is provided on the whole surface of the mold main body 7, the releasability of a molded product at a time of molding can be enhanced. Since the coating layer 9 is provided on the surface of the anodic oxidation film 8 by adsorption, it is hard to peel from the surface of the mold main body 7 and the durability of the mold can be enhanced.
