INK FOR LIGHT SHIELDING LAYER OF LIQUID CRYSTAL COLOR FILTER, LIQUID CRYSTAL COLOR FILTER USING SAME AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE: To enhance light absorbing and irregular reflecting effects and to improve light shielding property by satisfactorily dispersing carbon black in ink and increasing the surface area of the carbon black. CONSTITUTION: In this ink contg. carbon black, a thermosetting resin and a solvent, the average particle diameter of the carbon black is 10-30nm, the specific surface area is 150-480m<2> /g and the carbon black is contained by 20-60 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the thermosetting resin. The carbon black is not especially limited if the average particle diameter is 10-30nm and the specific surface area is 150-480m<2> /g and various producing processes such as channel and furnace processes may be adopted but channel black generally having a small particle diameter and a narrow particle size distribution is preferably used.
