Agitating apple orientor

The apple orienter includes a support movable over a path, and at least one receptacle in the support having an open bottom. An agitator is carried above the receptacle comprising at least one movable member which continuously agitates, lifts and rotates around and elongated apples by contacting a downwardly facing surface and one side surface of each apple until each apple is oriented. A drive is connected to the agitator. The agitator comprises a concave shaped spool and further comprises off-center mounting for connecting the spool to the drive.
