The bending device has a bending segment (4) rotatable about a bending axis (A), a workpiece holder (7) and a peripheral groove (5) for holding the workpiece (12) and defining the bending radius and a counter holder (10) for pressing the workpiece against the bending segment. An angle meter consisting of an angle scale (14) and a reference marker (17) for indicating the scale value is fixed to the bending segment so as to rotate with it. A freely rotatable element (16) protruding from the scale carries the reference marker and is applied to an un-bent part of the workpiece.
