<p>PURPOSE: To provide a carrier for microorganism and an apparatus for treating garbage, etc., excellent in holding efficiency for microorganism, having excellent performance for producing and keeping a good microbial environment, long in life, simple in structure and easy in maintenance. CONSTITUTION: This carrier 40 for microorganism has plural openings 42 from the surface into the inner part and plural strong holding members 41 are placed in the inner part. At least a part of the strong holding members 41 are connected to the outer atmosphere through openings 42. The apparatus for treating garbage, etc., is provided with a separator for separating a garbage slurry discharged from a garbage crusher into a portion containing garbage, etc., and a waste-water portion. The apparatus is also provided with a garbage- treating device for subjecting the garbage, etc., separated by the separator to an aerobic treatment and a waste-water clarifying device for clarifying the waste water separated by the separator. The garbage-treating device is provided with the carrier 40 for microorganism.</p> |
