FLUORORESIN COMPOSITION, HEAT-SHRINKING TUBE MADE THEREFROM AND ELECTRIC WIRE INSULATED THEREWITH

PURPOSE: To obtain a fluororesin composition which can give e.g. a heat- shrinking tube being excellent in heat resistance, flexibility and heat settability and having high transparency by mixing a copolymer comprising repeating units derived from vinylidene fluoride, tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene with a polyfunctional monomer. CONSTITUTION: This fluororesin composition is prepared by mixing 100 pts.wt. copolymer comprising three kinds of repeating units derived from vinylidene fluoride, tetrafluoroethylene and hexafluoropropylene, and having a vinylidene fluoride content of 30-50mol% and hexafluoropropylene content of 10-30mol% with 0.1-10pts.wt. polyfunctional monomer having at least two C-C unsaturations in the molecule. To assure the practical productivity, it is desirable that the average molecular weight of the terpolymer is adjusted so that its melt flow rate (at 190 deg.C under a load of 2160g) which is a measure of flow in a molten state may be about 0.1-30.
