PURPOSE: To eliminate a disturbance or passage or entering passersby which is apt to occur in the automatic ticket examination device where the authenticity, the classification, etc., of a ticket thrown in by the passerby passing between the inside and the outside of a station or the like are checked to reject the passage of the passerby like a wrong passerby, whose passage is not permitted, by a flapper door. CONSTITUTION: A flapper door 14 is closed when the passerby enters a passageway 11 slightly ealier than throwing-in of his ticket, thereby not only opening/ closing the flapper door 14 without making him uncomfortable but also surely stopping the wrong passage. When a passage sensor 15 detects the passerby who passes without throwing his ticket to a slot 16, the flapper door 14 in the open state is slightly closed to call his attention, and the flapper door 14 is completely closed to stop the passage if he tries to pass against this call; and when he throws in his ticket and the discrimination result is OK, the flapper door 14 is opened again to permit his passage. |
