<p>PURPOSE: To improve reliability of the transfer paper conveyance by providing a stopping means for temporarily stopping the transfer paper sheet in a circulating reversing path, and varying the temporary stopping time on the basis of the detection of the state across the conveyance of the transfer paper, in an image forming device provided with the circulating reversing path, and capable of forming images on both surfaces. CONSTITUTION: When a switch gate 6 is switched to the retransfer side, a circulating refeeding part 4 in a copying device 1 conveys the transfer paper to a reversing part 40 through conveying rollers 53, 54. The transfer paper is reversed by the reverse rotation of a reverse rotor 55 and fed to a horizontal conveying part 41, and then fed out to a conveying path A by the conveying rollers 57, 58. The detected information of respective detecting sensors S1 to S8 are fed to a control means, the state across the conveyance of the transfer paper in a circulating reversing path C is detected, and the transfer paper sheet is temporarily stopped by disconnecting an electromagnetic clutch of the conveying rollers 57, 58 by the detected result, and the temporary stopping time is variably controlled on the basis of the state in the front and rear of the conveyance of the transfer paper.</p> |
