PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the structure of a device for stacking paper sheets conveyed in an imbricated form so as to reduce the number of mechanical part items by setting the length of a separation thin plate to be larger than a vertical distance between a sheet feeding surface and the traveling-in plane of a rod grid. SOLUTION: A belt conveyor 2 is terminated just before a sheet stacking area at intervals. An auxiliary sheet stacking platform is constructed as a rod grid 8, and separation members 14 and 16 are disposed in free space between the tail end part of the belt conveyor 2 and the sheet stacking area. The separation thin plate 14 is disposed on a gap with respect to the rod of the rod grid 8 over a work width by its separation finger 16, and the length of the separation thin plate 14 is set larger than a vertical distance between the feeding plane of a sheet 1 and the traveling-in plane of the rod grid 8. Thus, the rod grid 8 to be inserted into a sheet stack 3 with little friction is used as an auxiliary platform. |
