PURPOSE: To reduce blocking between an ink layer and a back coat layer and to obtain good transportability by a method in which the penetration of a cushion layer is adjusted at a specified value, the back coat layer has a thickness of a specified value or less and contains a mat material of a specified particle size, and the crosslinked back coat layer has a contact angle with pure water of a specified value or more. CONSTITUTION: A heat mode laser recording material has a structure in which a back coat layer, a support, a cushion layer, a light-heat exchange layer, and an ink layer are laminated in this order. The penetration of the cushion layer which is installed to increase adhesion between a recording material and an image receiving material is made 10 or more. The back coat layer is arranged to have a thickness of 1μm or less and to contain a mat material with a particle size of 1.5-30μm in density of at least five pieces per 1mm<2> to decrease the contact area between the ink layer and the back coat layer. In addition, the back coat layer contains a crosslinkable water soluble binder, a crosslinking agent, a fluorine resin type mold releasing agent, and the crosslinked back coat layer is made to have a contact angle with pure water of 70 degree or more to have mold lublicity. |
