The starter (10) is operated for a predetermined time; opt., and preferably by reference to a rotation sensor (11), or a revolutions counter circuit, the controller disconnects it only when a satisfactory engine speed has been attained. Several unsuccessful starting attempts are allowed. Preferably, the vehicle has an automatic choke. For diesel engines, the program initiated by radio or infra-red remote transmitter when the vehicle is needed. |
