<p>An applicator (D) to distribute a liq. or viscous prod. (P) comprises a first part consisting of a reservoir (1) for the prod. surmounted by a neck (2) and equipped with a wiper element (5) made of elastically deformable material; and a second part consisting of a closure (4) to close the neck (2) of the reservoir. The closure (4) includes a shaft (9) which passes through the wiper element (5) and which has an applicator head (7) attached to its free end (8), such that when the closure (4) is in the closed position the applicator head (7) dips into the reservoir (1). The wiper element (5) is configured such that when the closure (4) is withdrawn from the reservoir (1) the wiper element (5) first wipes the shaft (9) and then dilates under the pressure of the applicator head (7), which has a transverse section (S), measured perpendicular to the axis (A-A), that is considerably larger than that (s) of the shaft (9). Pref. the wiper element (5) is made e.g. from an elastomeric material chosen from polyethylene elastomers, polyurethane elastomers, polyester elastomers, polyether-amide block copolymers, polyvinyl elastomers, ethylene-propylene-diene terpolymers (EPDM), sequenced styrene-butadiene polymers (SEBS-SIS), silicones, nitrile rubber or natural rubber.</p> |
