CARBON-CONTAINING SPRAY REPAIRING MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION

摘要

PURPOSE: To allow carbon or graphite to exist in a repairing material used for repairing by hot spraying of refractories and to form a tough spray-repaired part having a uniform compsn. CONSTITUTION: Powder or granules of refractories contg. graphite or carbon and fine powder of a fireproof substance having <=250 mesh particle size are kneaded with a dil. aq. soln. of water glass as a binder and the resultant kneaded material is dried to prepare powder or aggregate with fine powder of refractories stuck to the surface of graphite. This powder or aggregate is blended with powder or aggregate of other refractories.
