PURPOSE: To widen a transparentizing temp. region and to impart excellent erasing properties by adding fatty acid having a steroid skeleton and a plurality of higher fatty acids having melting points lower than and different from the m.p. of fatty acid having the steroid skeleton. CONSTITUTION: A recording material is obtained by laminating a reflecting layer 2, a recording material layer 3, a protective layer 4 and a printing layer 5 for forming a visible recording display window (b) on the surface of a synthetic resin base material sheet 1 and laminating a magnetic recording layer 7 and a protective printing layer 8 on the rear surface thereof. Fatty acid having a steroid skeleton and two or more kinds of higher fatty acids having melting points lower than and different from the m.p. of fatty acid having the steriod skeleton or derivatives of them are contained. By this constitution, a transparentizing temp. region is widened and the compatibility and crystallized state of higher fatty acids are controlled and the mutual action with fatty acid having the steroid skeleton is increased. As a result, a transparentizing temp. region can be ensured and erasing properties, that is, transparency can be improved. |
