PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an enriched fruit juice effective in treating and preventing atopic eczema, rheumatoid arthritis, coronary artery disease, asthma, diabetes, prostatism, etc., by homogeneously mixing a suspension of a fruit juice with a specified amt. of γ-linolenic acid and/or dihomo-γ-linolenic acid. SOLUTION: A suspension of a fruit juice is homogeneously mixed with 1 mg to 30 g/100 ml, preferably 100 mg to 2 g/100 ml γ-linolenic acid and/or dihomo-γ-linolenic acid. A fatty acid such as arachidonic acid, stearidonic acid, EPA or DHA may further be incorporated by 1 mg to 30 g/100 ml. When additional calcium is incorporated in an assimilable form by 50-2,000 mg/100 ml, the resultant enriched fruit juice is effective in treating and preventing osteoporosis. |
