PURPOSE: To prevent processing from being delayed by any reason like a busy communication line by efficiently utilizing the line to be used for various kinds of processing. CONSTITUTION: Communication lines #1-#8 allocated for processing to receive a slip image and to recognize characters with the facsimile, for example, communication lines #9-#1 6 allocated for receiving PB data and communication lines #17-#24 to be used for the transmitting processing of a confirmation statement are previously allocated for several lines. Then, a line using condition measuring part 25 measures the using conditions of respective communication lines for just preceding fixed time. A communication line allocation control part 21 retrieves the idle line from such using conditions and allocates that line to a processing part on the high using conditions. When it is previously known that the change of using conditions is fixed corresponding to time zones, the lines at the rate set for each time zone are allocated to processing parts 22-24. |
