PURPOSE: To provide the dimensional tolerance of leads, vibration resistance, and protection from damage by driving a spring contact in place along the inside of the frame of a socket housing on the surface of which another substrate is placed. CONSTITUTION: A spring contact 20 supporting a printed board 30 to make an electrical connection therewith and electrically connected to a motherboard 100 is driven into place along the inside of the frame of a framed socket housing 10 on which the printed board 30 carrying an electronic component 200 is placed. A bolt hole 11 is provided in an appropriate portion of the socket housing 10, and a guide post 12 is provided on an appropriate portion of the upper surface of the frame of the socket housing 10. A positioning pin 14 is provided on an appropriate portion of the bottom surface of the socket housing 10. |
