Silver@-iron@-zinc@ alloy electrical contact material
摘要
The sintered material for electrical contacts is composed of 3-30 wt.% Fe, 0.05-5.0 wt.% Zn, and balance Ag. The Zn is almost wholly dissolved in the Fe as a mixture crystal and/or is an intermetallic bonding with at least a part of the Fe in the material. The Ag grains are alloyed in a thin layer with Zn only at the threshold surfaces to the Fe, and are otherwise free of Zn. Also claimed is a mfg. process where the Ag/Fe/Zn powders are mixed to be pressed and sintered. Initially, the whole Zn content is worked with at least part of the Fe powder into mixed Fe-Zn crystals or into an intermetallic Fe-Zn bonding before mixing with the Ag powder.
