<p>A fuel treatment device comprising an inlet (30) through which fuel enters the device; an outlet (40) through which fuel exits the device; an annular fuel filtering element (90) and a magnet (80). The annular fuel filtering element (90) comprises an inner wall (70) forming the annulus of the annular fuel filtering element (90). The magnet (80) and the annular fuel filtering element (90) are arranged such that fuel flows from the inlet (30) through the annular fuel filtering (90) element into the annulus, passes in proximity to the magnet (80) and through the outlet (40).
