<p>PURPOSE: To decide a video timing with respect to a wide variety of analog video formats by providing an analog video digitizer that converts an analog video signal into a digital signal and a synchronizing signal digitizer that converts a synchronizing signal into a digital signal. CONSTITUTION: An input analog video signal is given to a gain variable video gain circuit 30, where the video signal is reduced to be kept within an operating available region for an analog video digitizer 33, and the result is given to a back porch clamping circuit 32. A pure analog video signal of a sampling analog video signal that is outputted from the circuit 32 and digitized is given to the analog video digitizer 33, where the analog signal is converted into a digital signal, and the digital image signal is stored in a digital memory 35. An analog synchronizing signal is given to a synchronizing signal digitizer 43, where the signal is converted into a digital synchronizing signal, and it is stored in a memory 35. Through the configuration above, the video timing is surely decided with respect to a wide variety of analog video format and an image with high image quality is formed by the digital signal.</p> |
