Multi-chamber light for a vehicle, especially an automobile, with a cover comprising retroreflective elements

The multifunctional light comprises a base with several cavities and the reflector cover glass fitting over these cavities. The cover glass includes a number of reflector bands (15) between which are transparent bands (16A,16B). The glass is divided into two regions in which the proportion of transparent area to reflector area is different. The relative size of the two regions may however change progressively so that externally the reflector does not appear to have any discontinuity. The width of the bands may change by an arithmetic progression. A further region may surround both the areas (A,B) to form an outer region which does not have a reflector function.
