PURPOSE: To obtain a clean antibacterial transparent writing tool comprising a transparent shaft cylinder and an internal mechanism with the retention of transparency free from discoloration in its long time use by adding an antibacterial agent having transparency-preservation properties to the shaft cylinder. CONSTITUTION: An antibacterial transparent ball-point pen incorporates a transparent refill 3 filled with ball-point pen ink 2 as an internal mechanism for writing, in a transparent shaft cylinder 1 on which an antibacterial agent is applied. In addition, a tip part 4 is screwed into the front end part of the shaft cylinder 1 and a tip lead 5 is caused to protrude from the tip. Further, a knock cap 6 with a grip is attached to the rear end of the refill 3 in such a manner that the knock cap 6 is removable from the shaft cylinder 1. The antibacterial agent is an antibacterial phosphoric acid intercalation compound obtained by substituting quaternary ammonium ion with an antibacterial effect with the ion of a layer phosphate expressed by formula M4 (HPO4 )2 .nH2 O(M4 is a tetravalent metal; n=0 to 2) and thereby, intercalating into the layer phosphate. |
