Motorised hand-guided equipment, esp. thumper

The equipment has a casing (1), with an axis (2) which is inclined forwards in order to produce a forward drive from the thumping action of a plate (3). It is guided by the hand of an operator, using a U-shaped bar (5) which is connected to the casing. The bar is attached such that its side limbs (5a) can swivel up and down relative to an at least roughly fixed axis (10). The axis may have coaxial elements, with one element connected to an end (5c) of the side limb, and the other connected to the casing. The elements may be separated by an annular elastomer layer.
