PURPOSE: To surely remove a metal fiber left on a cutting surface by using a battery electrode sheet containing a metal fiber as a current collecting material as one electrode, and subjecting the cutting surface to a pulse discharge treatment to fuse and remove the protruded metal fiber. CONSTITUTION: A battery electrode sheet 5 is positioned on a placing base, the feeding terminal 4e of a feeding mechanism 4 is lowered and connected to the tub 5a of the sheet 5, and a sliding contact body 4f is brought into contact with the cutting surface of the sheet 5. A start signal is outputted from a controller to an FF circuit 3a in this state, and a required pulse power is oscillated and supplied. A required pulse potential is outputted between the sheet 5 and the contact body 4f through power transistors 4a-4c, a volume 4d and the terminal 4e to fuse and remove a metal fiber protruded onto the cutting surface of the sheet 5. Thus, the metal fiber protruded onto the cutting surface of the sheet 5 can be surely removed. |
