PURPOSE: To provide a connecting structure between a circuit board and connector and a connector therefor in which the floating of the connector to the board can be prevented. CONSTITUTION: This connector has a connector body 11 having a contact pin 16 to be electrically connected to a circuit board, and connecting parts 20a, 20b for connecting and fixing the connector body 11 to the board. The connecting parts 20a, 20d have engaging legs 22a, 22d extending through an opening part provided on the board, and engaging fixing parts 26a, 26d provided on their top ends. The engaging legs 22a, 22d are inserted to the opening, and the locking parts 28a, 28d of the engaging fixing part are engagingly locked by the outside of the opening part to temporarily fix the connector body 11 to the board. |
