PURPOSE:To surely dehydrate CO2-rich high-pressure gas with simple operation, by reducing the pressure of the high-pressure gas after cooling and separating the supersaturated water from the gas. CONSTITUTION:A gas supplied from a CO2-rich high-pressure gas source is cooled to an extent with a cooler 1 such as air cooler and the pressure is reduced with a pressure reducing value or an expander 2. The supersaturated water taking the form of free water is separated with a separator 3, etc. The saturated gas discharged from the separator 3 is compressed with a booster 4 to a prescribed pressure, cooled with a cooler 5 to a prescribed temperature and supplied to a CO2-rich high-pressure dry gas source. The power cost can be reduced by the above dehydration process. |
