Several inking blades (11) are fixed on an insert strip (8) whereby there is a positive temperature difference between the two of about 20 degs. A distance is 0.0001 mm to 0.01 mm is formed between each inking blade (11). When applying heat the inking blades heat up quicker and thus expand as required compared to insert strip. The entire unit is then cooled and the spacing is fixed.
