In an audio/video apparatus such as television receiver or audio system having a speaker or a speaker box for displaying video signals, outputting and processing audio signals, the anion generating apparatus of the audio/video system comprises: a power supplying means 1 required in the audio/video apparatus; a high-voltage generating means 2 for receiving to the power generated from the power supplying means, switching the power, and generating a high voltage; a filtering means 3 for alternately interrupting the high-voltage generating means and the power supplying means, and eliminating impulse noises; and a discharge rod 8 for generating anions by discharging as to the high voltage generated from the high-voltage generating means and locating at a predetermined position ready to be affected by the speaker's sound pressure of the audio/video apparatus for the diffusion of generated anions.
