发明名称 METHOD OF AND DEVICE FOR ALIGNMENT OF MATING PARTS OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
摘要 FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines; alignment of parts in manufacture. SUBSTANCE: method comes to automatically maintaining alignment conditions at boundary friction. Method is realized as follows. Engine is subjected to idle running-in to prepare friction surfaces for taking considerable loads and for heating. Then power is supplied to device providing realization of alignment method, and throttle valve is opened by 80%, as load on engine at the end of alignment process should not exceed 80%. Then engine is accelerated to speed corresponding to maximum torque nand device load-related actuator will increase load on engine crankshaft until n. is set. Alignment of friction surfaces will reduce friction losses and looseness in cylinder-piston group. This is accompanied by increase in crankshaft speed at fixed position of throttle valve. Increase in rotational speed will cause increase in thickness of oil layer and, consequently, intensity of alignment will be decreased. Return of engine alignment conditions to maximum intensity conditions (boundary friction) is provided by increasing current in circuit between generator and liquid rheostat, i.e. increasing load on shaft and decreasing engine crankshaft speed to n.. As mating surfaces get aligned, cycles of speed rising and adaptive load increasing continue till the end of alignment which is defined by value of current in loading device. Torque developed by engine at this moment should be not less than 80% of maximum value. Device for implementing offered method has engine to be subjected to alignment and loading device. The latter has induction motor connected with engine and liquid rheostat coupled with load-related actuator, speed sensor installed on shaft between internal combustion engine and induction motor, rotational speed and current comparator units, first one being coupled by its input with speed sensor, and by its outputs with load-related actuator; second one is connected by its input with induction motor and by its outputs with liquid rheostat and rotational speed-related actuator. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of alignment of mating surfaces, reduced time of alignment and enhanced quality.
