The apparatus includes a tube (4) which can be deformed in the sense that it can be squashed and into which is fed (3) the product to be delivered. A presser unit (8) cooperates with the flexible tube (4), which extends in a generally straight line, and can squash the tube (4) so as to reduce its internal passage and can subsequently cause the translational movement of the squashed zone along the tube (4). The translational movement of the squashed zone results in a nett expulsion of the mass from the tube.
