PURPOSE: To rotate an image following the read speed of a scanner with a small memory capacity. CONSTITUTION: Binary image data stored in a memory 11 in bit map format are read out, byte by byte, by an X counter 12 and a Y counter 13 according to rotation directions in 90 deg. units, and a bit extraction part 15 extracts bits from each byte, one by one, and they are written in FIFO memories 17a and 17b alternately by lines by a timing control part 18 through a flip-flop 16, and read out of the FIFOs 17a and 17b while matched with the output position on a transfer paper. A write enable signal WE to the FIFO memories 17a and 17b is much longer than the output period of image data. |
