PURPOSE: To improve convenience by receiving video-on-demand(VOD) service on various conditions by exchanging images, voices or various kinds of other information between the providing source of VOD service and the information processing terminal. CONSTITUTION: Various kinds of information 103 are transmitted from a VOD service providing source 101 on the side of a VOD server to an information processing terminal 104 on the user side of VOD service. This information is transmitted to the information processing terminal 104 by a VOD unit, which is provided with a transmitting and receiving means 102, and received by a receiving means 105. That information is displayed on a display means 108 after various kinds of processing are executed to it by a processing means 107. A user performs the selection of VOD service, etc., while using a selecting means 109. Processing such as the transformation of a data format is added to the result by the processing means 107 and it is transmitted from the information processing terminal 104 to the VOD unit by a transmitting means 106. The various kinds of information 103 are transmitted to the providing source 101 of VOD service by the transmitting and receiving means 102. |
