A child seat (12) is provided for a swing (10). The child seat (12) includes a seat shell (28) having a seat bottom (30) with a front edge (32) and a back edge (34). An adjustable seat back (40) is pivotably appended to the back edge (34) of the seat bottom (30) and extends upwardly from the seat bottom (30). The child seat (12) further includes swing support-receiving structures (24) that are arranged to receive support arms (22) appended to a swing motor. The support arms (22) and the support-receiving structures (24) cooperate to suspend the child seat (12) above a floor. Additionally, the child seat (12) includes a rotatable restraint bar (58) that is usable to restrain a child seated in the seat shell (28).
