PURPOSE: To obtain a long-service life and a low-cost power-saving type ultraviolet curing device, resistant to heat from an ultraviolet light source, allowing cutoff of transmission of ultraviolet rays necessary for curing to an ultraviolet- curable compound without stopping power supply to the ultraviolet light source, and having high ultraviolet transmission efficiency from the device to the compound. CONSTITUTION: This ultraviolet curing device includes a housing 1 having a wave guide tube 108 at one end 102, and a reflection member disposed relative to a light source 90 for reflecting ultraviolet rays from the light source 90 to the wave guide tube 108. The reflection member is disposed within the housing 1 reciprocally between a focus conformity position and a focus unconformity position. At the focus conformation position, the reflection member reflects the ultraviolet rays to the wave guide tube 108 such that transmission of the ultraviolet rays having desired frequencies passing through the wave guide tube 108 is promoted. At the focus unconformity position, the reflection member reflects the ultraviolet rays to the wave guide tube 108 such that the transmission is blocked. |
