<p>A pneumatic tire comprises a plurality of blocks (12). Each of the blocks (12) has a set of two sipes (14) extending substantially in a transverse direction of the tire. The sipes (14) divide the block into a narrow area (16) formed therebetween and wide areas (18) located so as to sandwich the narrow area (16). To improve driving and braking performances on ice, a length of one side end of at least one of the wide areas (18) in a circumferential direction of the tire is different from a length of another side end of that wide area in the circumferential direction of the tire. <IMAGE></p> |
