PURPOSE: To realize the effective generation of an electric power by providing with a thermoelectric conversion module so as to be contacted with gas discharged out of a heat exchanger, in a hot-water supplier equipped with the thermoelectric conversion module, utilizing gas from a burner for high- temperature fluid source and water, introduced into the heat exchanger as a low-temperature fluid source. CONSTITUTION: In a hot-water supplier, water, supplied from a feed water port 40, is heated upon passing it from a thermal generating unit 30 through a heat exchanger 16, then, is discharged out of a hot-water discharging port 48 as hot-water. In this case, combustion gas, generated by a burner 18, effects heat exchange between feed water upon passing the heat exchanger 16 and, thereafter, is introduced into a thermal generating unit 30 through a duct 28. The gas is contacted with the high-temperature fluid side surface of a thermoelectric conversion module 34 and, thereafter, flows in the sequence of the duct and a muffler 62 and is discharged out of an exhaust air port 66. The thermoelectric conversion module 34 is cooled by water in a water cooling jacket 36 through the outer peripheral surface thereof and power generation is effected by a temperature difference between the exhaust gas of combustion and water.
