The apparatus is for controlling the temp of the suction air in the engine according to the states of the engine, so that it can reduce the harmful constituent of the exhaust gas, specially generated in the initial stage, by reducing preheating time. It comprises a cylindrical pipe(4) installed on an air suction pipe(3); the thermal conduction element(5), installed in the cylindrical pipe(4), performing the heat transfer with the suction air; and a controller(10) controlling the thermal conduction element based on the temp variations within the engine(1).
