PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of quality deterioration due to severe temperature change and high temperature and high moisture atmosphere, by hermetically thermofusion sealing the sealing part of a metal lid and a metal vessel aperture by using a low temperature melting point metal. CONSTITUTION:A pair of outer terminals 32, 33 which are fixed to a metal lid 30 made of aluminum via a glass hermetic seal 31, and aluminum leads 34, 35 led out from aluminum collectors 23, 24 are welded together by ultrasonic waves. The metal lid 30 is closely engaged with a step-difference 36 formed on the inner periphery of the aperture of a box metal vessel 28. Tin-lead solder wire 38 whose melting point is 100-250 deg.C is fitted in the outer peripheral step- difference part 37 formed in the metal lid 30, so as to cover the whole circumference. By heating and fusing the solder, the metal lid and the box vessel 28 are hermetically sealed. An organic electrolyte is injected from an electrolyte injection port formed in the central part of the metal lid 30. |
