In the prepn. of a light gelatine foam, 16-21 wt.% gelatine is dissolved in 78-83 wt.% water at 55-60 deg C and 0.5-1.0 wt.% wetting agent is stirred into the soln.. The mixt. is then foamed using a gas stream.
