<p>Insecticidal compositions are described for use against insects comprising mixtures of genetically modified insect viruses with chemical and biological insecticides for enhanced insect control. The genetic modification of the virus comprises the insertion of a gene which expresses an insect controlling or modifying substance, for example, a toxin, a neuropeptide or a hormone, or an enzyme. The genetic modification of the virus also comprises a deletion in a gene.</p> |
