The pulsed radar includes an wide pass band, electronically swept antenna (1) with fast switching, a recurrence generator (3), a hyper-frequency generator (5). Transmitters (4) send hyperfrequency from the generator to the antenna at a pulse rate controlled by the recurrence generator. A local oscillator receives signals from the antenna and the generator for processing (7,8). The hyperfrequency generator is quickly switchable between several hyper-frequencies sets. Each frequency and phase of each set is memorised. The frequency difference between two sets is greater than the pass-band of the local oscillators signals. The recurrence generator is able to operate according to a number of interleaved successive frames. A general switching mechanism (9) is provided to make the radar function sequentially according to the hyper frequencies sets, respectively associated with the recurrence frames, and to the different antenna directions. The processing devices function selectively on received signals of different states.
