PURPOSE:To quickly move a medium replenishing and recovery machine and to accurately stop it in a target stop position. CONSTITUTION:When the light of a light emitting device 1-d is received by a light reception device 2-d, this signal has a certain spread in the moving direction. Its center is defined as the light center position, and a distance R between this position and the stop position is stored in a storage part 22. A medium replenishing and recovery machine 2 is quickly moved along a movement path 15 and is sufficiently decelerated before the light center position. Thereafter, the light center position is detected, and it is braked in the stop distance R, and then, it is accurately stopped in the stop position. The distance between a home position indicating means 40 and the stop position is preliminarily stored in a storage part 22, and the movement counter measuring means of the medium replenishing and recovery machine 2 is corrected at need. |
