<p>2-imidazoline-5-one derivatives of general formula (I), wherein R1 is H, vinyl, allyl, C¿1-3? alkyl or C1-3 haloalkyl; R?2¿ is a mono- or bicyclic aromatic heterocyclic radical having 5-10 atoms of which 2-4 are heteroatoms selected from O, S or N, and being joined to the imidazolinone nucleus via a carbon or nitrogen atom, and further being optionally substituted; R3 is a hydrogen atom when n = 0, or a C¿1-3? alkyl or haloalkyl group or a cyclopropyl group; R?4¿ is an aromatic heterocyclic or aryl radical; R5 is H, C¿1-3? alkyl or C1-3 haloalkyl; n is 0 or 1; Y is an oxygen or sulphur atom; and W is O, S or SO. The preparation of said derivatives and their use as broad-spectrum fungicides are also disclosed.</p> |
